Terms & Conditions of Sale

Terms:

 

  • Quotations and Purchase Order Acknowledgements are subject to the following general terms and conditions.
  • Safety Chicks Ltd. is hereinafter referred to as SELLER and the purchasing party is referred to as CUSTOMER.
  • All purchases with established credit are due thirty (30) days from date of shipment.
  • All purchases without established credit require payment via cash or approved credit card prior to shipment or pickup.
  • SELLER’S Terms & Conditions of Sale shall supersede any terms & conditions contained in CUSTOMER’S purchase order.

Prices:

  • Prices quoted are valid for thirty (30) days from date of quotation unless otherwise stated.
  • Applicable taxes are extra.

Delivery:

 

  • Shipments are F.O.B shipping point.
  • Title and risk of loss shall pass to CUSTOMER on pick-up or delivery to carrier from SELLER’s dock.
  • SELLER will prepay and charge for freight on its invoice where shipment is by carrier of SELLER’s choice.
  • CUSTOMER may request SELLER to ship collect by a carrier of its choice. Prior to shipment, CUSTOMER must provide SELLER with an account number that CUSTOMER has established with carrier.

Warranties:

  • SELLER will make manufacturers applicable warranties available to CUSTOMER

 

Returns:

  • Stock Items
    • Returns and cancellations are subject to approval by SELLER in its sole discretion and according to the following terms and conditions.
    • Prior to shipping any item back to us, contact a Safety Chicks representative at 1-204-727-7233 to request return. Please note: we will refuse the shipment of any item sent to us without prior knowledge of Return. Return shipping (including compliance with requirements for shipping & handling dangerous or restricted goods, if applicable), insurance costs and the possible loss or damage in shipping anything to us is the sole responsibility of the customer.

o Item(s):

  • Must be returned within 30 days of delivery
  • Must be accompanied by proof of purchase
  • Will be inspected to ensure items are unused, in original packaging and in saleable condition
  • Reasonable quantities – large quantities may incur higher restocking charges
  • Returns on “Date Sensitive” items are restricted and at the discretion of Seller

Non-Stock Items

  • Return privileges for Custom Items, Non-Stock and Special-Order Items, Discontinued, Obsolete and Sale / Clearance Items are limited and must be confirmed at the time of purchase.
